We recommend that you read these Terms & Conditions; Delivery Prices; Returns and Privacy Policies before placing an order. When you place an order you are entering into a contract with Packraftadventure  Ltd and by doing so you agree be bound by the terms described herein.

Definitions:

"Packraft(s)" is/are a type of inflatable kayak or canoe.  These craft are easily inflatable, relatively light weight and packable.

 

"Us", "We", "Our" or "Packraft Adventure" shall mean the Company , Packraft Adventure Ltd, whose registered office is 19 Denbigh St, LLANRWST, Conwy, LL260LL. Our company is registered in Wales and its registration number is 11954548.

The Terms “You”, "User", “Purchaser” or “Participant” shall mean any person, persons, organisation or company choosing to purchase any item from Packraft Adventure Ltd.

 

Throughout this agreement, the plural shall also be taken to mean the singular and vice versa.

Packrafting is an “Assumed risk” – “Water contact sport” that may carry attendant risks, including personal injury, damage to personal property and death. purchasers and participants should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement, in particular we strongly recommend participants should:

​

  1. Get Packraft specific instruction.

  2. Get first aid and rescue training and carry appropriate first aid and rescue/safety equipment.

  3. Always wear a CE/UKCA/ISO approved buoyancy aid..

  4. Always wear a CE/UKCA/ISO approved Watersports helmet where appropriate.

  5. Dress appropriately for environmental conditions, especially for cold water and/or cold weather.

  6. Check your equipment is serviceable prior to each use.

  7. Don't ever paddle on your own.

  8. Don't Packraft in flood and spate conditions.

  9. Understand and be aware of changes in river levels, tides, currents and weather.

  10. Scout water you cannot see; portage around hazards where appropriate.

  11. Packraft within you capabilities.

  12. Consult your doctor prior to your paddle sports training.

  13. Never Packraft under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  14. Always Always read and obey the manufacturer instructions and recommendations for use of these products.

 

Other Important Terms: 

 

- Packraft Adventure Ltd may transfer or assign its obligations and rights under these Terms and Conditions (and under the Contract) to a third party. If this occurs, Packraft Adventure Ltd will make you aware through information on or website and social media channels. Your rights under these Terms and Conditions will not be affected and Packraft Adventure Ltds obligations under these Terms and Conditions will be transferred to the third party who will remain bound by them.

 

- You may not transfer (assign) your obligations and rights under these Terms and Conditions (and under the Contract, as applicable) without Packraft Adventure Ltd's express written permission.

- The Contract is between you and Packraft Adventure Ltd. It is not intended to benefit any other person or third party in any way and no such person or party will be entitled to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions.

​

- If any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions are found to be unlawful, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by any court or other authority, that / those provision(s) shall be deemed severed from the remainder of these Terms and Conditions. The remainder of these Terms and Conditions shall be valid and enforceable.

- No failure or delay by Packraft Adventure Ltd in exercising any of its rights under these Terms and Conditions means that Packraft Adventure Ltd have waived that right, and no waiver by Packraft Adventure Ltd of a breach of any provision of these Terms and Conditions means that Packraft Adventure Ltd will waive any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.

- Packraft Adventure Ltd will be responsible for any foreseeable loss or damage that you may suffer as a result of Packraft Adventure Ltd’s breach of these Terms and Conditions (or the Contract) or as a result of Packraft Adventure Ltd’s negligence. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence of Packraft Adventure Ltd’s breach or negligence or if it is contemplated by you and Packraft Adventure Ltd when the Contract is created. Packraft Adventure Ltd will not be responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

- Packraft Adventure Ltd only supply goods for domestic and private use by customers. Packraft Adventure Ltd makes no warranty or representation that the goods are fit for commercial, business or industrial use of any kind (including resale). Packraft Adventure Ltd will not be liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, interruption to business, or for any loss of business opportunity.

- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions seeks to limit or exclude Packraft Adventure Ltd’s liability for death or personal injury caused by Packraft Adventure Ltd’s negligence (including that of Packraft Adventure Ltd’s employees, agents or sub-contractors); or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions seeks to exclude or limit your legal rights as a consumer.

DELIVERY

- At Packraft Adventure Ltd we normally aim to despatch all orders within 7 working days. Some packrafts are ordered specifically and so may take longer to process. Where this is the case we will notify you of an anticipated delivery soon after you place your order. Please note: The 7 working day despatch timescale does not include products that are built to order, we will notify you of estimated delivery times when you place the order. Time is not of the essence.

​

- Due to Post BREXIT regulations we no longer deliver to Northern Ireland from 01 Jan 21, sorry but we didn't vote for "leave" either :0(

​

- Delivery during the Coronavirus Pandemic.  At the start of the Coronavirus Pandemic couriers changed their delivery times and no longer guarantee delivery in specific time scales, to that end we will attempt to send you item by the most expeditious means within the cost you have paid for postage and packaging, however, you should note that delivery times are estimates and changes in government rules and guidance may present couriers with significant difficulties in meeting these estimates.  We therefore ask for your patience at this difficult time. 

   

- Should we anticipate a dispatch delay of more than 7 working days we will attempt to contact you.

 

- All our goods are delivered by a courier and MUST BE SIGNED FOR. Couriers may not deliver items unless they are signed for. If a signature is unattainable the courier will leave a card with a depot contact number in order for you to rearrange the delivery.

 

- Please check all goods for any signs of transit damage before signing for them, any problem should be brought to the attention of the driver and noted as such.

 

- Goods should reach you in excellent condition, if you believe the items appear to be damaged or faulty you must notify us within 48 hours of receipt.

 

- If an item is returned to us due to a missed delivery/collection then we will refund the cost of the items minus any delivery costs paid by us. 

 

- If there are errors or shortages in your order, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the delivery.

- All orders will be dispatched using the Address information provided by You.  Where the address information You provide is not recognised by our Courier database we may, at our discretion choose to confirm such information with You.  We do not accept any liability whatsoever for orders that become delayed or go missing due to any inaccuracies, incorrect formats, errors or omissions in the Address information provided by You.

 

- We do not accept any liability whatsoever for orders that become damaged, lost or missing due to the errors or omissions of the Courier. Should you wish to insure your delivery against loss or damage we will do so at cost. Please contact us for details.

- All prices quoted online and in store are in pounds sterling, no VAT is payable. Every effort is made to keep the prices up to date but we reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.

It may be that prices and promotions are incorrectly quoted or changed due to external circumstances. If the price quoted is incorrect we have no statutory obligation to sell goods at the price. If there is an error in the pricing we will inform you as soon as possible when your order is placed.

- We aim to ensure all goods shown on our website are in stock however if an item should sell out we will contact you as soon as possible. Placing an order does not guarantee availability. Alternatively, to avoid disappointment you can contact us at info@packraftadventure.co.uk

ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

- We may deliver your goods in recycled packaging as part of our Company’s recycling commitment.

 

- Where ever possible we aim to use low carbon delivery methods.

PAYMENT

- The prices shown for all of our goods are in pounds sterling, as is the delivery charge. No VAT is payable.

 

- We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, and Visa Debit.

 

- We reserve the right to refuse acceptance of payment details if we think they are being used fraudulently. 

 

- Should you need to contact us about your order we aim to respond to any enquiries within 2 working days.

 

- We advise, for your own safety, that you read all product information and instructions that come with the product and only use products as described in the manufactures instructions and in the way they are intended to be used.

Refunds:

​

- Refunds will be made via the payment method originally used.  We will aim to process refunds within 3 business days of agreeing to refund you.  Refunds usually take up to 5 business days to appear in your account.  Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We accept no responsibility for delays and or errors in refunds due to reasons outside of our control.

CANCELLATION & RETURNS POLICY

Faulty Goods:

 

- In the unlikely situation that you find any item purchased on our website to be faulty then please contact at info@packraftadventure.co.uk  We will then advise you of the appropriate action to arrange replacement, refund, parts or repair as is deemed necessary. We will send you a return form which you must complete and send back to us with the item.

 

- Please note that returning of goods is at your risk and expense.  We cannot be held responsible for items that are lost or damaged on their way back to us.  We strongly advise you use a fully tracked service and insure the item for the full purchase price.

 

- Once received by us the item(s) will be inspected and if the item(s) is agreed to be faulty, then we will refund you the cost of standard postage. 

 

- You will find that most of our manufacturers products carry a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty please ask for details.

 

- Please note that you must comply with the manufacturers instructions for care and use.  You may need to provide proof of care Failure to do so will invalidate any manufacturers warranty.

 

- Once the Manufacturers Warranty has expired, Packraft Adventure Limited will be under no obligation to offer repair or replacement.

 

Unwanted Goods:

 

- Changed your mind after purchase? If after receiving any item that you have purchased you then decide you would like to return them back to us, simply let us know within 14 days from the date of delivery to you. To do this, just send us an email to info@packraftadventure.co.uk stating that you wish to return the item. We will send you a return form which you must complete and send back to us with the item.

 

- Please note that returning of goods is at your risk and expense.  We cannot be held responsible for items that are lost or damaged on their way back to us.  We strongly advise you use a fully tracked service and insure the item for the full purchase price.

 

- All unwanted item(s) must be returned in a new and unused condition and still with the original packaging and any labels still attached. You are entitled to open the packaging and remove your items to inspect the goods, but you are not entitled to change your mind following the use of an item. Please note: inflating items with your mouth will mean that the item will be defined as used and cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons.

 

- Once you have let us know, send it back to us within 14 days (buyer pays return postage/delivery charge). As soon as we receive the goods back we will inspect them carefully, as long as the item(s) are in a new and unused condition, we will refund you the full purchase price excluding any delivery charge paid.

 

- You are responsible for sending unwanted items back to us and we do recommend that the items are well packed and that you use a tracked or recorded service which offers you the relevant insurance against damage or loss. Please note that the item remains your responsibility until it has been received by us.
